A social responsibility event was organized by the "DOST Volunteer" program

A social responsibility event called "Kanelbulle Cooking Day with Autistic Children" was organized within the "Corporate DOST" subprogram. The event was held at the Autism Center of the Joint and Healthy Public Union with the support of the Swedish Institute, the Azerbaijan-Swedish Network of Students and Alumni and the organization of the "DOST Volunteer" program.

After getting acquainted with the Autism Center, Swedish Ambassador to our country Tobias Lorentzson and Deputy Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency Seymur Aliyev cooked "Kanelbulle", which has a special place in Swedish cuisine, together with autistic children and DOST Volunteers. Later, a master class with eco-bags was held, and children performed music.

Children with autism syndrome were presented with the books "Karlsson on the Roof", "Pippi Longstocking" and "Emil of Lönneberga", which are among the pearls of world children's literature by the famous Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren. The children presented the eco-bags they prepared with "DOST Volunteers" to the Swedish ambassador.
