Today in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, apartments were provided to families of martyrs and people with war-related disabilities, and cars were presented to people with war-related disabilities.
The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev and the authorized representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Fuad Najafli took part in the event of the presentation of apartments and cars.
S. Babayev emphasized that one of the main directions of the successful social policy of President Ilham Aliyev is the strengthening of social protection for families of martyrs and persons with war-related disabilities. It was noted that after the 44-day Patriotic War, which ended with our great Victory, 276,000 services have already been provided to 123,000 people as part of the large-scale social support package for the families of martyrs and war participants.
In the post-war period, the program of providing housing and individual houses for the families of martyrs and persons with war-related disabilities was also expanded five times. During this period, 4,500 apartments and private houses were presented to the families of martyrs and persons with war-related disabilities. Also, in the post-war period, 324 cars were given to people with war-related disabilities, and in the previous period, more than 7,500 cars.
