A public hearing and discussion was held at the DOST Agency on "Education on the "one-stop" provision of state social services and the need for electronic services".
Members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, representatives of civil society institutions, as well as specialists and experts took part in the event organized according to the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on public participation.
Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency, Farid Mammadov, informed the event participants about the activities of DOST centers. It was emphasized that the concept of DOST has created conditions for the provision of state social services in our country from a "one-stop shop", operative and based on the principle of citizen satisfaction. It was noted that more than 1 million 500 thousand citizens have benefited from DOST services and the level of citizen satisfaction with these services is higher than 98 percent. It was pointed out that the agency was awarded with many international awards, and the application of DOST practice in other countries was encouraged by international organizations.
Later, discussions were held on "Education on providing public social services from a single window and services that require electronicization". The participants of the event voiced their opinions on the topic, assessed the current situation and made new proposals.
