A delegation of the DOST Agency is on a visit to Moldova - PHOTOS

The model (concept) of Azerbaijani DOST centers will be implemented in the Republic of Moldova. Members of the working group created to implement the concept visited Moldova to exchange experiences, assess the situation on the ground and establish more effective communication.

According to the action plan signed between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Moldova, members of the working group created in this direction visited Moldova.

The purpose of the visit was to assess the situation on the ground to prepare a conceptual document on the agreed main directions, familiarize with the activities of the institutions of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Moldova and establish more effective communications. During the four-day visit, members of the working group visited the “Botanica” reception center of the National Social Insurance Fund, the Agency responsible for social security in Moldova, other reception centers outside the capital Chisinau, as well as the Employment Agency, Social Inspectorate, Labor Inspectorate, and held meetings with the Republican prosthetics -orthopedic rehabilitation center and other relevant institutions.

On the last day of the visit, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Moldova, Alexei Buzu, met with the working group. Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency Farid Mammadov joined the meeting online. At the meeting, Minister Alexey Buzu got acquainted with the meetings of the working group and their initial observations.

At the next stage, based on the meetings held by the working group, the information received and the establishment of effective communication, a document will be prepared and sent to the other party for the implementation of the model (concept) of DOST centers in the Republic of Moldova.

It should be noted that earlier, in an online format, an exchange of experience took place between the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the National Social Insurance Fund, as well as several meetings within the working group and with the participation of Representatives of Moldova.
