The DOST agency was visited by a delegation led by the head of the mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Anna Bordo. The visit took place as part of the visit of representatives of the Foundation to Azerbaijan on November 1-16.
Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency Farid Mammadov informed the guests about the important advantages of the DOST experience in providing social services in accordance with the comfort and satisfaction of citizens.
It was reported that by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev by August 9, 2018, the DOST Agency and 7 DOST Centers were opened since May 2019. The DOST concept is an initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, and based on this concept, 159 services in social spheres are provided according to the “single window” principle, operative, transparently, in accordance with the comfort and satisfaction of citizens.
Over the past period, more than 1 million 800 thousand citizens used DOST services, and the level of citizen satisfaction with these services is 98.1 percent.
It was noted that the DOST Agency has received many international awards, the DOST model will soon be implemented in the Republic of Moldova, and several other countries are also interested in applying this practice.
In conclusion, the visit of IMF representatives to Azerbaijan was discussed and a wide exchange of views took place on the prospects for cooperation.
