As part of the DOST Agency's "Volunteer DOST" program under the "Corporate DOST" subprogram, a "Young at Heart" training and creative camp has been organized for individuals aged 65 and above.
Supported by the DOST Agency and TuranBank, the event took place at the Zira Ecopark, where various activities were carried out to organize leisure time effectively and promote community integration among the elderly. The camp, which hosted 30 elderly participants, featured yoga sessions, excursions to the Carpet Museum and Orchid House, a film screening at the Ecopark's cinema, as well as chess tournaments.
At the end of the camp, gifts were presented to the participants of the "Young at Heart" training and creative camp.
The project's goal is to enhance the necessary knowledge and skills of individuals aged 65 and above to adapt to modern life, transfer their experiences to the younger generation, and promote "peer integration" by organizing quality leisure activities.
