More than 50 residents of Nakhchivan have been equipped with assets to start their own small businesses under the self-employment program

A visit was also conducted to an enterprise established under this program in Nakhchivan, as well as to a model facility operating in the field of occupational safety.

In the city of Nakhchivan, more than 50 additional individuals were provided with assets in the form of goods and materials to help them create small family businesses in agriculture and service sectors within the self-employment program.

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev and Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Acting Minister Farid Bagirzade, took part in the asset distribution ceremony.

They met with the beneficiaries of the self-employment program, inquired about their plans for establishing small family farms using the provided assets.

Anar Aliyev and Farid Bagirzade also reviewed a small enterprise in Nakhchivan city established, through the support of the self-employment program, for Elbayi Iqbal oghlu Ismayilov, a person with a disability, specializing in tire repair and restoration.

The program participant expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the support that enables unemployed and job-seeking citizens to access small business opportunities and establish their own family enterprises.

It should be noted that, to date, more than 3,200 small family farms have been created under the self-employment program in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

A visit was also made to one of the exemplary enterprises in the field of occupational safety — the ENNA company, part of Cahan Holding, where healthy and safe working conditions have been established.
