Awareness event held to improve the population’s digital skills

The Sustainable and Operational Social Provision Agency organized an awareness event aimed at improving the population’s digital knowledge and skills.

The event, held at the Karabakh Regional DOST Center, was attended by representatives of the DOST Agency, the Barda District Executive Authority, state and private institutions, as well as local civil society organizations. The training mainly involved citizens who had reached or were approaching retirement age.

Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of such awareness activities. It was noted that the digitalization of public services and the wider application of digital solutions in everyday life make it necessary to improve digital skills among the population.

During the training, participants were informed about the registration process using the SİMA digital signature, submitting pension applications electronically, using digital banking services, as well as ways to protect themselves from digital fraud carried out through social engineering methods. The training sessions were conducted by specialists of the Karabakh Regional DOST Center.

At the end of the training, participants’ questions were answered. Afterwards, the participants visited the Karabakh DOST House of the DOST Creativity and Development Center.
