Another meeting was held in DOST Agency within the framework of state monitoring in the field of rights of persons with disabilities. The event was attended by members of the State Monitoring Commission for the rights of persons with disabilities, veterans of the Patriotic War and public representatives.
Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency, Farid Mammadov, spoke about the work done by the state in the field of protection of the rights of persons with disabilities, including the goals and tasks of organizing state monitoring in the relevant field.
Zahra Hasanova, an employee of the DOST Agency, made a presentation on the topic "Goals and tasks of state monitoring in the field of rights of persons with disabilities, work done". In the presentation, the purpose of the Monitoring Commission, main directions, areas covered, target groups, etc. information was given about the topics.
Later, within the framework of state monitoring with the participants of the event, discussions were held on the topic of "Social and psychological adaptation of the participants of the Patriotic War with disability. "Difficulties in self-realization in the fields of education, culture, sports and employment". During the discussions, information was provided on the work done by the DOST Agency in assessing the disability of war veterans, ensuring their employment and other areas. The event participants voiced their opinions and suggestions on the topic.
In the end, Farid Mammadov noted that such meetings will be held continuously, and the opinions and suggestions will be taken into account by the commission.
