Another meeting was held in DOST Agency within the framework of state monitoring in the field of rights of persons with disabilities.

In addition to the members of the State Monitoring Commission in the field of the rights of persons with disabilities, non-governmental organizations, bloggers, university and public representatives participated in the event.

Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency, Farid Mammadov, informed the event participants about the work done by the state in recent years in the field of protection of the rights of persons with disabilities. Noting that attention to this area is one of the priority directions, F. Mammadov spoke about the projects planned to be implemented in the future.

Shahin Zulfugarov, head of the Department of Data Management and Analysis of the DOST Agency, made a presentation on the work done within the framework of state monitoring. In the presentation, the purpose of the Monitoring Commission, main directions, areas covered, target groups, etc. information was given about the topics.

In the meeting, within the framework of the implementation of state monitoring in the field of the rights of persons with disabilities, discussions were held consisting of two blocks on the topics of "Possibilities of accessibility and inclusion in the education system" and "The available opportunities and difficulties for the comprehensive development of children with disabilities, to realize their talents, knowledge and skills."

It was noted that the opinions and suggestions voiced by the guests at the event will be taken into account by the commission.
