The Lithuanian delegation visited Baku DOST Center No. 1

The delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Social Security and Labor of Lithuania, Martinas Surkus, visited Baku DOST Center No. 1.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency Seymur Aliyev informed the guests about the activity of DOST centers. It was emphasized that the concept of DOST has created conditions for the provision of state social services in our country from a "single window", operatively and based on the principle of citizen satisfaction.

The delegation got acquainted with the service units and the service process, as well as the central coordination unit at the DOST center.

At the subsequent meeting, a presentation on the DOST concept was shown for the Lithuanian delegation. In the presentation, citizens were informed about the services provided in the DOST centers in the fields of social protection and social security, medical and social expertise and rehabilitation, social insurance, labor and employment.

Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency Farid Mammadov said that since May 2019, 6 DOST centers have been opened and more than 1.3 million citizens have been served in these centers. The level of satisfaction of citizens with services is 98.2 percent.

At the meeting, it was also noted that the Agency was highly appreciated by prestigious international organizations and won a number of awards during its activity.

It should be noted that the delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Social Security and Labor of Lithuania, Martinas Surkus, is visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the presentation ceremony of the twinning project "Support to pension reforms in Azerbaijan - Phase 2".
